My journey into spirituality has been shaped by intuition, personal transformation, and a deep belief that every person has the ability to connect with their own inner wisdom.
Born in New Orleans and raised by my mother, Joy Kauf, founder of Miracles of Joy, spirituality was a natural part of my life from an early age. As a child, I often experienced intuitive moments that I could not explain and was encouraged to explore those gifts through meditation, spiritual development, and self-discovery.
Like many people, my path was not always straightforward. During my late teens and early twenties, spirituality took a back seat as I struggled with addiction and self-destructive behaviors. In 2009, I entered recovery and began rebuilding my life. That journey taught me resilience, compassion, and the importance of reconnecting with oneself during life's most challenging seasons.
Shortly after completing rehab, I joined Miracles of Joy full-time and immersed myself in the study of Tarot, crystals, energy work, and spiritual education. Although I was initially skeptical of much of the metaphysical world, witnessing the positive impact it had on people's lives transformed my perspective and strengthened my commitment to helping others.
Tarot has remained at the center of my spiritual practice. After studying and reading professionally for many years, I taught my first Tarot course in 2020 and discovered a passion for teaching that continues today. Through readings, classes, mentorships, and community events, I strive to help others understand that intuition is not a gift reserved for a select few, but a skill that can be developed through trust, practice, and experience.
Today, my husband David and I proudly own Miracles of Joy, continuing the vision my mother began while creating a welcoming space for spiritual growth, healing, education, and community. My studies have included Tarot, Reiki, Theta Healing, Crystal Therapy, Chakra Balancing, Numerology, Feng Shui, and other metaphysical practices, but my greatest passion remains helping people reconnect with themselves and their own inner guidance.
The values that guide my work are simple: love, compassion, integrity, and empowerment. I believe true spiritual guidance should never create fear or dependency, but instead help people recognize the wisdom, strength, and potential that already exists within them.
When people walk through the doors of Miracles of Joy, I often see them pause, take a deep breath, and exhale. To me, that moment says everything. My hope is that every person who visits, whether for a reading, a class, or simply a conversation, leaves feeling a little more connected to themselves than when they arrived.
