Veronica invites you to a cultural tradition where we will celebrate our ancestors, our beloved dear ones (including friends and partners), and our young children who have passed away, including the ones who were once in our bodies but only came to share their light for a short period of time.
Let this be a sacred time to find closure to our pain and illuminate our/their paths we shared together by keeping their names alive.
We might all have different beliefs, be of different races, genders, or colors, but we all share the cycle of life and death.
WHAT YOU’LL EXPERIENCE
• Community support
• A candle dedicated to their memory that you will light on the altar and then take home with you to continue burning after the ceremony.
• A cup of ceremonial cacao to help us open our hearts through this transition into a harmonious and peaceful state.
WHAT TO BRING• Pictures and names that you are okay with burning.
• An offering, something they liked or something that reminds you of them. You can take this back home with you afterward.
Don’t know what to bring? Don’t worry! There are plenty of things at the shop to choose from.
