This is a group of workshops designed to introduce Astrology and the reasoning behind the descriptions of the planets and signs.
First Class will be held on Saturday, February 19th from 11am-1pm
The first workshop will be about the foundations of Astrology and the relationships between the signs of the Zodiac. Students will learn the language of Astrology including the symbols called the Glyphs. The houses and power points of a chart will be highlighted which are a person’s Sun sign, Moon sign, and the rising sign.
Students will learn how to read a chart wheel and begin to understand interpreting the placements of planets in a chart. A person’s personality can be constructed by reading a chart correctly.

Second Class will be held on Saturday, February 19th from 2pm-4pm
The second workshop will concentrate on the aspects of Astrology. Learning about conjunctions, oppositions, squares, and trines will help students learn how a person is given tools by the Universe to navigate the unique issues they are born to overcome. Retrogrades and their meanings will be discussed along with the meaning of each planet’s energy.
There will be mythology used in this workshop to help students understand the reasons for the names of each planet and their influence. Mythology gives great insight into the minds of the ancient Astrologers who used it for the Zodiac. Their observations remain relevant today.

Third Class will be held on Saturday, February 19th from 5pm-7pm
The third workshop is about interpreting charts. Students will be asked to give their perspectives on the charts of famous people and use those observations in their own charts. Current placements of planets and their transits will be discussed during this class.
Students are asked to provide their birthday, year, and place of birth before attending the classes. They will be given their natal chart so they can follow the lectures of each class. This will give students a frame of reference during the classes and help create an understanding of their personality and challenges they have in their lives.
